Josh Brownhill insists the Clarets still have work to do and won’t let up in their pursuit of Premier League safety.
Sean Dyche’s men took a major step towards securing their top-flight status with Saturday’s thrilling 2-1 win at Everton.
The Clarets go into their extended break seven points clear of the relegation places and only four points behind Crystal Palace, who are four places better off in 11th-spot.
But Brownhill isn’t taking anything for granted with nine games to go once Burnley resume their campaign at Southampton – who are only ahead of the Clarets on goal difference – over the Easter weekend.

“It's not done and it won't be done for a while, but it's another step in the right direction and three more points towards safety,” said the midfielder.
“That's all we can keep doing, keep chipping away at these wins.
“We have not been far away, especially in the last two performances against Leicester and Arsenal.
“We knew we had to keep doing what we were doing and we would get chances and on Saturday we took them.
“We've got some really big results away at some big teams this season. That's what we are capable of doing and it was fully deserved.”
The victory at Everton followed away wins earlier this season at Arsenal, Liverpool and Crystal Palace and secured all three points for the Clarets for just the second time in 10 games.

But a record of one loss in the last eight league games at a critical stage of the campaign had underlined Burnley’s enduring resilience.
And Dyche’s side then took their performance level up a notch to out-play an Everton side still harbouring top-six ambitions, with Brownhill an integral part of a display capped by high-quality strikes from Chris Wood and Dwight McNeil.
“I really enjoyed it. I thought the boys were excellent and it was a massive win,” added Brownhill, whose performance alongside the equally polished Ashley Westwood was one of his best in a Burnley shirt.
“We deserved it from start to finish. We started off brightly and we wanted to get up behind them and they were great finishes from Woody and, obviously, Dwight with an exceptional goal.
“It was very special. He does it a lot in training. As soon as he hit it, I knew it was in and if anybody deserves that, he does. I’m delighted for him.
“We also defended very well and when we go in front we normally tend to stay ahead or not concede too many chances.
“And if we do, as we've seen in many games everybody puts blocks in and that was the same on Saturday to make sure we got the win.”
