Darko Churlinov became Vincent Kompany's 12 signing of the summer on Friday afternoon, after penning a four-year deal from German side VfB Stuttgart.
The winger told Clarets+ how much he is ready for his new chapter at Turf Moor, explained the busy week of arriving in Burnley and what the fans can expect from him.
Churlinov on joining the Clarets:
“It’s a new chapter in my life, I’m pretty excited and I’m very happy to be here.
“There’s no time to lose and I’m really looking forward to tomorrow and the upcoming weeks."
Churlinov on his busy week:
“Firstly, I had to travel to Paris from Germany to get my Visa. As I have a Macedonian passport, so it can be a little bit hard!
“Once I applied for my Visa, I waited one day, then I had it and flew straight to Manchester to get over here.”
Churlinov on hearing of Burnley's interest:
“The first time I heard it, it was very exciting news for me. I thought about it, and I think I can bring a lot to this team.
“I think it’s very important for this club to get back in the Premier League and I’m here to help that happen.”
Churlinov on adapting to English football:
“It’s different football, a different style, I’m really looking forward to learning here.
“There’s no time to lose and I’m really looking forward to tomorrow and the upcoming weeks."
Churlinov on his thoughts of Burnley's opening four games:
“I have seen the last few games, I watched the match on Tuesday, we play something really good football.
“We are creating a lot of chances and opportunities in front of goal, I can’t wait, it will be good.”
Churlinov on what fans can expect from him:
“I would describe myself as a player with good technique, I have pace and can be dangerous in front of goal.”
