Burnley Football Club can confirm that Michael Mellon has joined Sky Bet League Two side Oldham Athletic on loan for the rest of the 2025/26 season.
Now 21, Mellon spent the second half of last season at the same level with Bradford City, helping the Bantams to promotion.
Having scored in our U21s’ Premier League 2 opener against Wolverhampton Wanderers, he now heads to Greater Manchester to gain more senior experience.
