Flemming and Brownhill goals secure all three points at Carrow Road

Second-half goals from Zian Flemming and Josh Brownhill saw the Clarets come from behind to claim all three points at Carrow Road and extend their Sky Bet Championship unbeaten run to eight matches following a 2-1 victory against Norwich City.

It was a dream start for the hosts, as City took an early lead in the 2nd minute, with defender Jose Cordoba meeting Borja Sainz's corner to glance home the opener.

After being on the pitch for less than five minutes, Flemming then pulled the scores level with a terrific effort from 30-yards out, with the forward picking out the the top corner with just over 20 minutes left to play.

Burnley then took the lead and snatched the winning goal in the 76th minute, as Brownhill latched onto Jaidon Anthony's header into the area and smashed it home past Angus Gunn.

It took the hosts just 63 seconds to open the scoring, as Jose Cordoba rose highest from a corner to head home an early goal for the Canaries.

Burnley’s first effort on target came a few minutes later when Jeremy Sarmiento saw his fierce strike from outside the area caught by Gunn.

Trafford was then called into action to deny Borja Sainz’s strike from outside the area, with the keeper pushing it wide.

Scott Parker’s side were beginning to move the ball nicely and some good build-up play saw an opportunity fall to Anthony, as Brownhill teed up the winger inside the area, but his effort was deflected wide.

A Burnley corner then saw Brownhill come close, as the midfielder rifled it from just outside the box, but Gunn was equal to it.

Despite the visitors’ efforts to draw the scores level before half-time, City went into the break with the lead.

The Clarets were forced into an early change in the second-half, when Sarmiento collided with Callum Doyle, with the Ecuador international having to make way after an awkward landing.

Josh Laurent was introduced as a replacement and came close to equalising just a minute later, as the midfielder played a neat one-two with Anthony inside the box, before seeing his shot blocked for a corner.

Laurent then turned provider, as the 29-year-old drove through midfield before spreading it out wide to Koleosho, but the young forward could only fire at Gunn between the sticks.

Trafford was then called into action to make a fantastic triple save, after initially saving Doyle’s header, before keeping out the two follow-up efforts.

Parker then made a double tactical change with just under half-an-hour on the clock left, as Hannibal and Flemming replaced Lucas Pires and Jay Rodriguez.

It took the substitute just four minutes to make an impact, as Cullen laid off the ball to Flemming from 30-yards out from a free-kick, with the Dutchman taking a touch before rifling into the top corner past Gunn to draw the scores level in fine fashion.

Burnley were on the front foot and pushing for a second and that's what they got just under 10 minutes later, as Brownhill latched onto Anthony's header and struck home at the near post to give the Clarets the lead.

Despite late pressure from the hosts and a chance for Marcondes, who could only fire wide of the target, Burnley took home all three points.
