Burnley took all three points on Saturday afternoon, as the Clarets edged out Leeds United at Elland Road in a 1-0 victory over the Yorkshire side.
Luca Koleosho's 18th minute strike proved to be the difference between the two sides, as Scott Parker's team battled until the end to become the first team in the league to beat United this season.
Parker named two changes to his side and handed a debut to Zian Flemming, who replaced Lyle Foster, with Bashir Humphreys making his league debut coming into the XI for Connor Roberts.
There was an early opportunity for Leeds in the first minute when Koleosho’s pass to Maxime Esteve was intercepted by Mateo Joseph, who raced in on goal one-on-one with James Trafford, before firing wide of the target.
The Clarets responded to that chance with an effort of their own when Flemming picked out Hannibal inside the area, who headed just wide of the target.

Leeds then forced the first effort on goal; after applying pressure on the Clarets, Gruev eventually lifted the ball towards Trafford from the edge of the area, but the Burnley No.1 was under no danger.
In an end-to-end start in Leeds, the Clarets then broke the deadlock in the 18th minute as Koleosho stole the ball from Solomon and burst forward covering over 60-yards, before slotting coolly past Meslier into the bottom corner.
United looked to respond minutes later when Wilfried Gnonto was slipped through on goal inside the area, but Trafford was there to make an excellent save to deny the Italian forward an equaliser.
But the Clarets were looking to add a second and came close just after the half-hour mark when former Leeds loanee Jaidon Anthony saw his effort blocked for a corner, before Joe Worrall guided a header just wide of the goal from the set-piece.

Following a lively 45 minutes in the Yorkshire sun, the away side headed into the break with the lead after a battling display.
It didn’t take long for the action to continue in the second half when Joseph saw his curled strike heading towards the far corner palmed wide by Trafford.
With the Clarets still ahead just after the hour mark, Parker made his first change of the afternoon as Jeremy Sarmiento replaced the goalscorer Koleosho, before Josh Cullen then came on for Hannibal in midfield with 18 minutes left on the clock.
Despite efforts and a handful of chances from from the hosts to snatch a late equaliser, the Clarets stood strong, with a late second yellow card shown to Humphreys in stoppage time, before the referee eventually blew the whistle for full time minutes later.
The Clarets head back to Lancashire with all three points and are back in action next weekend against Portsmouth at Turf Moor.
