Burnley return to Sky Bet Championship action on Wednesday night (7:45pm) as the Clarets take on Hull City at the MKM Stadium.
Scott Parker's men travel to Yorkshire on the back of a 2-0 victory at Sheffield Wednesday at the weekend, which extended Burnley's unbeaten league run to seven matches and sealed a fourth consecutive clean sheet.
The Clarets currently sit 2nd in the Championship table and just one point off top, after taking 21 points from the first 10 games of the 2024/25 campaign.
Wednesday's opponents Hull sit 14th after the first couple of months of the season, with the Tigers winning three of their last five matches in the league.

The opposition
After reaching the top-flight for the first time in the club's history in 2008, the Tigers have had plenty of ups and downs over the last few years, with four relegations and three promotions in the last 15 seasons.
Despite staying up with a 17th place finish in their first season in the Premier League, Hull were back in the Championship in 2010, but only spent three seasons after bouncing back up to the top-tier in the 2012/13 campaign.
The following season turned out to be a memorable one for the Yorkshire side, as City secured their highest top-flight finish (16th) and reached the FA Cup final, before being defeated by Arsenal at Wembley.
Relegation back to the second-tier followed the season after in 2015, but they returned instantly via the play-offs, alongside the Clarets who won the Championship, but the Tigers were relegated once again in 2017 and are yet to return to the Premier League.
In their third year back in the Championship, Hull found themselves relegated once again in 2020, this time to League One, but after winning the third-tier title, City were promoted 12 months later.
There has been gradual success for the Tigers since coming back up to the Championship, as 19th and 15th place finishes were followed by a 7th place finish last season.
After a tricky start to life in the 2024/25 campaign and without a win in the first five games, three wins in their last five league fixtures has Tim Walter's side sat 14th in the league table.
In the dugout
After retiring from a brief playing career, Tim Walter began his coaching background with Karlsruher U19s in 2006, where he joined as assistant coach.
Walter spent several seasons with the German side coaching from U15-U19 level, before departing in 2015 to join Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich to work within a similar role in the Bayern academy.
After two years with Munich, Walter was appointed boss of Bayern Munich II (reserves), where he spent one year in charge, before leaving to become manager of Bundesliga.2 side Holstein Kiel in May 2018.
12 months later, Walter left Holstein and joined fellow Bundesliga.2 side VfB Stuttgart and after brief spell out of management between December 2019 and May 2021, the German was back in action after being named Head Coach of Hamburger SV.
Walter spent three seasons in charge, including two play-off defeats in his first two campaigns, before joining Hull City in May of this year for his first spell in England.
