Clarets take on Wolves in final game of the season

Burnley entertain Wolverhampton Wanderers on Sunday afternoon in the final game of the 2025/26 Premier League campaign.

Mike Jackson's side will be looking to carry the momentum from the last two performances, which has seen a battling 2-2 draw with Villa and a narrow 1-0 defeat to the league champions on Monday night.

The Clarets will go up against another relegated side in Wolves, before the two club's prepare for life in the Sky Bet Championship next season.

Wolves head to Lancashire sitting bottom of the table, two points behind Burnley and in the previous seven meetings at Turf Moor between the two sides, the Midlands side have lost four and drawn three.

What Mike Jackson said

"We can't change what has happened this season, but we can affect how we leave it and I think that's the biggest thing for us going into this game on Sunday.

"Nobody wants to finish bottom of the league and that's our full focus. Getting a result for the fans and giving them a performance to be proud of.

"I want us to follow on from what we have done in the last two games. We got a point against Villa and created a number of chances, then competed well against Arsenal on Monday.

"So, we need to keep that same energy going into this game. It's hard leaving players out of the team and everyone wants to play, but we will look at the team for Sunday closer to the game this weekend."
