The Clarets are back in the top-flight and kick-off the start of the 2023/24 Premier League season against Manchester City on Friday night (8pm KO).
Please note there will be roadwork disruption around the stadium, further detail can be found below, therefore we encourage supporters to plan their journey in advance.
Take a look at our match guide for supporters:
Roadwork disruption
The Club wish to remind supporters of the ongoing roadworks in and around Burnley.
Major roads in and out of Turf Moor are affected by the ongoing improvements. Supporters will be directed to leave at Junction 9 on the M65 and to follow diversion signs to the stadium. We are aware of the roadworks at this junction currently, which we have been assured will be lifted by 3pm on Thursday 10th August
Please note, Yorkshire Street will be closed to vehicles but open for pedestrian access. We strongly encourage supporters to plan your route in advance and leave plenty of time for your journey.
Further stadium information
Entry to turnstiles for supporters will open at 6:30pm for both home and visiting supporters.
Please bring photo ID with you as this may be checked as part of our standard ticketing policy.
There will be a pre-match light show ahead of kick-off.
We will be serving food and beverages on all concourses and will only be accepting cashless methods of payment.
Alcohol-free lager and cider will also be served in all concourses and hospitality areas.
Our matchday magazine, Turf, will be available in print! Grab your copy from the Clarets Store or our programme sellers around the stadium. Alternatively, this can be purchased online for delivery here. The stadium's multi faith room has a new location this season. The room has moved to the first floor of the ETC (above the Rapidz FanZone).
As part of new regulations, referees will add the exact time lost in goal celebrations, substitutions or injuries to the stoppage time. The time on the big screen will now show added time at the end of each half.
Our security team will be conducting bag checks as per our ground regulations. Please arrive early to allow extra time for the additional process.
Our supporter code of conduct can be found here - please read before coming to the game. Burnley Football Club is delighted to be partnering with EST parking to provide bookable parking options for home matchdays here at Turf Moor. Click here for more information. Travel information for Turf Moor can be found here. Supporters can enjoy the Official Burnley FC Matchday Playlist on Spotify, listen to it here. The safety of all match participants is of paramount importance and we recognise that reckless actions, witnessed at several recent fixtures are carried out by a small minority of fans and the majority of supporters attend and watch matches in a safe and respectful way.
We therefore ask that our supporters adhere to the ground regulations in place at Turf Moor, enjoy the game from their seat and do not to enter the playing area at any time. We remind supporters that it is a criminal offence to enter the pitch and doing so, may result in a criminal record and stadium bans. It also creates a significant safety issue not only for themselves, but for fellow supporters, Club players, staff and match officials.
The Club wants all supporters to enjoy the game safely and thank fans for their continued support.
Football unites to improve participant and fan behaviour for the 2023/24 season. Read the 'Love Football. Protect the Game' measures here. We are delighted to be joined by investors JJ and Kealia Watt, and new investors Dude Perfect on Friday night.
It's Dude Perfect's first visit to Turf Moor. The group have a saying ‘Pound it, Noggin, See Ya later’ which features in their viral videos. They will be in the NE corner at half-time encouraging supporters to join in the chant on video!
Located on the North Stand car park, the newly branded Rapidz FanZone will open at 5pm with a food court including new food outlets, in addition to food vans and coffee seller.
There will be lots of pre-game activities for supporters to enjoy both inside and outside the FanZone and there is now a large indoor and outdoor screen.
Bertie Bee and our new mascot, Bella Bee, will be buzzing around - make sure you don’t miss a photo opportunity!
There will also be a pop-up store in the FanZone from 5 - 8:15pm, with Burnley FC items including newly released stock, available for purchase.
We encourage supporters to arrive earlier than usual in order to attend the match on time. Supporters arriving less than 20 minutes before kick-off are not guaranteed to be in their seats before kick-off, particularly due to additional spot checks taking place.
Please use the graphic below as a visual representation of how your arrival time affects viewing kick-off.
The Ticket Office at the stadium will be open to collect tickets and will remain open until half-time to help with any queries you may have.
Please make sure you bring your correct season ticket card, ticket or have your e-ticket to hand, ahead of reaching the turnstiles.
Supporters may be aware, we have made several changes across Turf Moor during the summer. One of the changes has been to partner with the Compass Group for our catering provision across both hospitality and our concourses. We believe that this move will greatly enhance the matchday experience for all.
One consequence of this move is having to change our till systems, which means you will no longer be able to spend your Goldcard directly at the tills. Instead, you now have the below options:
Hospitality
If you wish to use your Goldcard to pay for your bar bill, we can set up a tab and use the Goldcard to cover the tab at the end of the fixture.
Concourses
You will be able to purchase vouchers from the ticket office to be redeemed at the concourses.
Concourse menu & prices
You can collect the vouchers from the Ticket Office beforehand and you will be able to redeem these vouchers directly at the concourse kiosks. Please note, the vouchers cannot be used at the brand-new self-order units or in the North stand and James McIlroy Lower concourses and Rapidz Fanzone.
We urge any supporters who hear or experience any discriminatory language or behaviour which can include homophobia, sexism, and racism to contact us urgently.
