Ian Maatsen has been nominated for PFA Vertu Motors Fans' Player of the Month award for October.
The 20-year-old defender, who started five of the Clarets' eight fixtures last month, grabbed two assists and played a part in four victories.
Maatsen teed up Nathan Tella to open the scoring at Cardiff, before picking out Vitinho to head home with a pin-point cross against Swansea in the 4-0 win at Turf Moor.
The Netherlands U21 international is up against QPR's Lyndon Dykes, Jerry Yates of Blackpool, Millwall's Zian Flemming, Ismaila Sarr from Watford and Ben Brereton-Diaz of Blackburn Rovers.
