Matt Lowton wants the Clarets’ rediscovered resilience to be the springboard for a move up the Premier League table.
Burnley are back to being hard to beat with just one loss in their last six games.
Sean Dyche’s men are also unbeaten in three matches in a run starting with a 1-1 draw at home to high-flying Everton earlier this month.
The Clarets return to Turf Moor for the first time since then when they entertain Wolves on Monday evening (KO 5.30pm).
And after winning at Arsenal and drawing at Aston Villa during a week on the road, Lowton is targeting a second home success of the campaign.
“To get four points from two tough away games is brilliant for us, and two clean sheets in a row, and we look to build on that,” said the Clarets’ defender.
“We have played well at home. In the Everton game we were right on the front foot and were unlucky not to come away with three points.
“We will be looking to do that again and start bright and be on the front foot.
“Wolves are a good team, with a lot of pace on the break, but we’ll be looking to be solid and get the three points.”
The Clarets’ return to form has not been enough to pull them clear of the bottom three after just one point taken from the first six games of the campaign left them with catching up to do.
Results over the weekend saw Burnley drop back into the relegation zone on goal difference.
But Dyche’s side knows victory over mid-table Wolves would send them up to 16th-spot and just a point behind Arsenal in the place above, with a game in hand on all the teams around them.
“The start wasn’t what we were hoping for, but we’ve picked up recently, got some points on the board and started getting clean sheets back in as well, which is what we like to build on,” added Lowton, who has contributed to four clean sheets in the last six games from his position at right-back.
“With the games coming thick and fast, hopefully we can get some more points on the board and start moving up the table.”
