Nine players are currently on loan deals away from the Club, across six leagues and four countries, including the Danish Superliga, Scottish Premiership and German Bundesliga.
This tally includes three players from the academy, with Lewis Forshaw putting in a man of the match performance for Lancaster City, and Michael Mellon netting two and assisting one for Morecambe.
Here’s a round up of how all nine loanees, in alphabetical order, have fared over the past week.
Bailey Peacock-Farrell (AGF Aarhus)
There was one game this week for Peacock-Farrell in the Danish Superliga, as he played 90 minutes in a 1-1 draw with Odense BK at Nature Energy Park.

Benn Ward (Swindon Town)
Ward featured twice this week for the Robins, both as a substitute, against Forest Green and Wrexham respectively, with both games in Sky Bet League Two.
The defender replaced Brooklyn Genesini in the 96th minute of their away win at Forest Green, with Frazer Blake-Tracy netting a 94th minute winner for Swindon.

Ward enjoyed more game time against Wrexham, however, in a fantastic 5-5 draw, as he came on for Genesini once more in the 59th minute of the ten-goal thriller that left the Robins sat 13th in the table.
Two games at home follow this week for Ward and Swindon, with Arsenal U21s first up on Tuesday, in the EFL Trophy, before Crawley Town travel to The County Ground on Saturday.
This week’s game(s): TUE – Arsenal U21s (H), SAT – Crawley Town (H)
Dara Costelloe (St Johnstone)
Costelloe is yet to feature for the Saints, since making his loan move from the Clarets last week.
There was no game this week for the Scottish Premiership side, as League Cup fixtures took place, a competition that St. Johnstone have already been eliminated from.

Unfortunate to be on the losing side twice in the past seven days, the ‘keepers loan with Padiham lasts until October, as they sit 19th in the North West Counties Premier Division table.

The U18s ‘keeper then kept a clean sheet against Worksop Town on Saturday, as the Dolly Blues are currently placed ninth in the Northern Premier League Premier Division.

Luke McNally (Stoke City)
McNally, similarly to Forshaw, also kept a clean sheet this week as he played 90 minutes in the Potters 1-0 win over Watford on Saturday.
This was the defender’s second start for Stoke since joining from the Clarets, and he boasts a 100% win record in his two appearances so far.

A tricky game at the Den against Millwall is McNally’s next fixture, on Saturday.

Michael Mellon (Morecambe)

Following a 0-0 draw with Notts County on Tuesday, the forward’s Man Of The Match performances helped to propel Morecambe into seventh place in Sky Bet League Two.
