Burnley Football Club can confirm that Lewis Forshaw has joined Pitching In Northern Premier League side Lancaster City on loan until the end of the season.
Having signed his first professional contract with the Clarets last summer, the goalkeeper has been a regular in Andy Farrell’s U21s side in recent weeks.
The 18-year-old played against Fleetwood Town at Turf Moor earlier this week, following on from two penalty saves in a shootout against the same opposition four days prior.
Forshaw spent time on loan at Lancaster last season and the ‘Dolly Blues’, who are managed by Sam Bailey, are currently 14th in the 22-team table.
He could make his second debut for the Club when they welcome Morpeth Town to The Giant Axe this afternoon.
