Burnley Football Club can confirm that defender Lucy Walsh has joined Halifax FC Women on a season-long loan deal.
After coming through the youth ranks at Everton, Walsh joined Burnley in July 2022 and played in every league match that season.
The centre-back spent the second half of 2023/24 on loan at Liverpool Feds, making eight appearances in all competitions.
She now links up with fellow Northern Premier Division of the Women’s National League side Halifax, who are managed by Rob Mitchell and face West Bromwich Albion on Sunday afternoon.
