Sam Waller has joined National League side Rochdale on a loan deal that runs until Sunday 15th December.
Having been with the Club since the age of 12, the goalkeeper signed a new two-year Clarets contract in the summer.
Waller has featured for the U21s in Premier League Cup games against Luton Town and Brighton & Hove Albion this season, keeping a clean sheet in the latter at Turf Moor.
He now continues his development with ‘The Dale’, who are managed by Jimmy McNulty and sit 6th in the National League table after 17 matches.
The goalkeeper is available for this afternoon’s away game against Wealdstone.
