Manager Vincent Kompany has been nominated for the Sky Bet Championship Manager of the Month Award for October.
The Clarets started the month with 1-1 draws against Cardiff City and Stoke City, before following up with back-to-back victories and clean sheets against Coventry City and Swansea City.
Burnley then continued their unbeaten run with a midweek draw at Birmingham City, before a superb comeback away at Sunderland, seeing Kompany's men come from 2-0 down, to win 4-2.
A 1-0 win at Turf Moor against Norwich City in front of the Sky Sports cameras was then followed up by another comeback win, this time against Reading, winning 2-1 in stoppage time thanks to Anass Zaroury's late goal.
October saw the Clarets score 15 goals, gain 18 points from eight matches, losing none and concede just eight in total.
Kompany is up for the award against Blackburn Rovers' John Dahl Tomasson, Russel Martin of Swansea City and Michael Beale from QPR.
The Sky Bet Championship Manager of the Month award is voted for on a judging panel, with the winner announced on Friday 11th November at 6am.
