The latest episode of Keeping The Faith - the first-ever X Originals content series commissioned in the UK, exclusively sponsored by Sure For Men - is out now!
Titled 'The Pursuit of Better', the episode explores Scott Parker's coaching craft, through self-examination, collaboration, and the pursuit of marginal gains.
Episode 11 starts on a regular working day at the training ground, with the Clarets' gaffer amongst the first on site at 6am. Parker speaks openly and honestly about how he uses fear to drive himself on every day. The pressure is heavy, he admits - but stopping isn’t an option. Not for him.
Attention soon switches to Burnley's away fixture against Liverpool, with the cameras taking us into the manager's office, as he's briefed ahead of his weekly press conference.
We hear from members of Parker's backroom team, as well as Bashir Humphreys, who speak of the collective ambition to go to Anfield - the home of the Champions - and cause a stir.
The 1-1 draw that follows owes much to that collective spirit and determination, with Marcus Edwards' second half equaliser earning the Clarets a deserved share of the spoils on Merseyside.
Next, we hear from man-of-the-moment Edwards, alongside team-mate Josh Laurent, as the pair head to a local school in Burnley as part of the club's ongoing work in the local community.
It's a humbling trip for the pair, the best of friends, just days after running out at a packed Anfield in the biggest and best league in the world.
Later, the focus switches to the visit of Tottenham Hotspur to Turf Moor, with Kyle Walker delivering a passionate pre-match speech in the dressing room, insisting 'every game is a Cup final now, every one.'
Honours end even, with a last-gasp Spurs leveller breaking Burnley hearts, but Parker is philosophical after, insisting 'we'll stick together through thick and thin, and we'll be better for it'.
Providing viewers with exclusive, real-time behind-the-scenes access to all the goings-on at a Premier League club, Keeping The Faith is a must-watch. To watch Episode 11 click here!
