Tickets for remaining home fixtures now available to purchase

Fans visiting Turf Moor on recent matchdays will have seen the state-of-the-art LED screen installations around the interior of the stadium bowl.

The next phase of this installation will see LED screens installed above the Bob Lord and Jimmy McIlroy turnstiles, shortly to be followed by the full length of the North Stand. In addition to this, there will be two larger installations around the Utilita Jimmy McIlroy and North Stand Clearly Interiors executive suite entrances.

This project will provide a vibrant welcome to visitors to Turf Moor on both matchdays and non-matchdays, as well as providing information and way finding signage.

Burnley FC Wall of Legends

The preparation works for this part of the project will unfortunately mean the removal of two panels of the inscribed bricks which form part of the Burnley FC Wall of Legends, one on either side of the Utilita Jimmy McIlroy entrance.

The club is aware that many of these bricks were purchased as memorials to Clarets and by Clarets who are no longer with us. It is important that we always remember them and their support of the club.

The original method of fixing means that it is likely to be difficult to remove the bricks without damaging them.

Therefore, we plan to do two things to preserve this piece of the Burnley FC family history;

Any bricks which are removed intact will be available for the person named, or their family to collect from Turf Moor.
The brick panels will be precisely recorded before removal, and two new installations will be created, which will be situated in the Turf Moor Memorial Garden, immediately opposite the Utilita Jimmy McIlroy Stand.

We hope that by doing this, we continue to provide a fitting tribute to the fans and their families who supported the club by the purchase of the original bricks.
