Supporters Lynette, Adrian and Farah discuss their pride at being involved in home kit launch
The 2026/27 Burnley FC home kit is a celebration of the Club’s loyal fans and journey through time.
A design that blends tradition with modern elements, we wanted to involve supporters in this year’s launch – giving them the platform to express just what Burnley Football Club means to them.
Supporter Lynette described it as an ‘absolute honour’ to be involved.
“I’ve been a Burnley fan all my life and a Season Ticket Holder for most of it, so to be asked to be involved in something like this felt really special.
“I would normally say no to things like this, but then I thought about my children seeing their mum wearing the new Burnley kit around Turf Moor, and I knew they would be so proud. So, I went for it. As a lifelong fan, it felt like one of those moments you never expect to happen.
“Burnley has always been a big part of who I am. I am a Burnley girl at heart, and through my involvement with Burnley FC in the Community’s STEM programme, I have also been able to see first-hand the incredible work the Club does beyond football. That made being part of the kit launch feel even more meaningful.
“I was pleasantly surprised by how clean and minimalistic the design is. It feels like a nod to some of the older Burnley kits, but with a really modern feel.
“The crest really stands out, and as a Burnley fan, that is what matters. It represents the Club, the town, the supporters and the community - and that is why I love it.”
Combining pride for the Club with innovation, Adrian, who also took part in the launch, praised the simplicity of the design.
"It was a real honour to be asked to take part in the new kit shoot by the Club.
“This is usually done by the players of both the men’s and women’s teams, so to ask a balding bloke in his early sixties is quite a coup!
“I thought the kit was wonderful in both simplicity, the claret and blue, but also the nuances of small colour strokes under the arms. I particularly liked the feel of it and I’m looking forward to seeing the guys and gals wearing it with pride next season.”
Farah was also excited to play a part in this year’s kit campaign.
“It was so exciting as I couldn't tell anyone about the photoshoot.
“I was shocked, surprised, and happy at the same time when asked if I wanted to be involved.
“I really like the simplicity of the shirt; it reminds me of the 1966 World Cup shirt. I love the colour!”
