Clarets remembered at our In Memoriam fixture

On Wednesday 7th January 2026, at our game against Manchester United, the Club will be holding our annual In Memoriam matchday.

A round of applause will commence before kick-off to mark a moment of reflection, as we commemorate the loss of members of the Clarets family who passed away over the course of the year.

Burnley Football Club are inviting supporters to submit the names of anyone who has passed away in 2025 that you would like to be remembered at the game.

The names received will join the list of former players and staff who have sadly died and will be displayed on the big screen during the round of applause. The names will also appear on the Club website, social media, and matchday programme on the day of the fixture.

The deadline for all names to be received is 5pm on Thursday 18th December 2025.
