The Club held the In Memoriam game in January

On Saturday 14th January, at our game against Coventry City, the Club will be holding our annual In Memoriam matchday.

A one-minute silence will commence before kick-off to mark a moment of reflection, as we commemorate the loss of all members of the Clarets family who have passed away over the course of the past year.

This fixture continues to be a source of solace to many, following the initial proposal by the Supporters’ Liaison Group (SLG).

Burnley Football Club are inviting supporters to submit the names of anyone who has passed away in 2022 that you would like to be remembered in this moment of reflection.

All names received will join the list of former players and staff who have sadly died and will be displayed on the big screen during the one-minute silence. All names will also appear on the website, social media and matchday programme on the day of the fixture.

To submit the name of a loved one, please complete the form HERE.

The deadline for names to be received is midday on Friday 6th January 2023.

On behalf of all senior staff, management and the supporters of Burnley Football Club, we would like to pass on our sincere condolences for your loss.

Your personal details will only be use for the purposes of recording information related to this form and will only be processed for the purpose they were intended. For details on the club’s data protection and privacy policies please go to https://burnleyfc.com/club-policies
