Anass Zaroury was well placed to head home the winning goal at Turf Moor on Saturday afternoon.
His third of the campaign, the forward spoke post-match about his love of the Championship, delight in hearing the fans chant his name and a well fought for home win.
Zaroury on the three points:
“It’s a really good feeling. I mean, it was important for us to play our game until the last second of the game, and that’s what we did today.
“I scored the last winning goal; it could have been someone else so it’s a good win.”
Zaroury on his goal:
“It felt really good. It’s also something I have to work on, to be good on the wing, but also to be close to the goal to score like I did, so it’s a good point.”
Zaroury on the Championship:
“I really like it; we’ve now played a lot of games and yeah sometimes the teams are different, but I think we focus more on our game and what we have to do on the pitch. So, yes, it’s really good.”
Zaroury on Rotherham:
“Rotherham are a team, like other teams in the Championship, everyone can win against everyone, so I think we have to be really focussed again on Wednesday and I hope we make the best of it.”
Zaroury on the home support:
“I really love them. I don’t know how to explain but it's really good to hear the song and everyone singing it.”
