Sean Dyche has praised his players for giving absolutely everything in their bid to maintain Burnley’s status as a Premier League club.
Dyche’s men are closing in on safety with five games to go and currently sit 14th in the league table following last Sunday’s club record-breaking 4-0 win at Wolves.
And the Burnley boss believes his squad deserves enormous credit for constantly coming up with the goods in the battle to stay among the elite.
“We constantly try and rinse drops out of the players and encourage them to rinse drops out of themselves as individuals as well,” said Dyche.

“They do very well with that and we try and play our part. We try and add where we can, and we know that’s a question mark for the future.
“We’ll wait and see on that side of things as regards recruitment and signing players.
“But I believe the players here should have tremendous respect in the game because whenever they are challenged and whenever they are knocked, they come out and put on performances and we can win games.
“That sounds easy, but it's not easy winning games. I have a great pride in the players.
“People talk about when you're winning. I have great pride in my players when we're not, because they give a lot to the cause here.”

The Clarets are potentially just a couple of results away from securing a sixth successive season in the Premier League as they gear up for next Monday night’s visit of West Ham United with no fresh injury concerns.
Many of the current squad have been around for the majority of that run and Dyche believes their on-going desire to keep improving has been key to the Clarets’ continued success.
He added: “There are some key players here who often get the headlines and with good reason - your Tarkys, your Nick Popes, Woody, more so lately, and your Dwight McNeil.
“But some of the stories behind that. The growth of Ben Mee as a player, Charlie Taylor continues to improve in my belief, Jack Cork as an older player still improving and Westy has been a shining example of a player who came in with an incredible attitude to keep learning and keep improving.

“He plays forward now, puts the ball at risk more, shows his quality more and is more of a continuity player. He's a player who can affect games.
“I think that's fantastic to see those players, regardless of age, if you have players who work so hard at their game.
“In my early time here we had Michael Duff and congratulations to him. It's fantastic what he's done down at Cheltenham (winning promotion as manager).
“He was one who still wanted to learn and wanted to improve.
“There are so many stories of that and that's one of the best parts of my job, and one of the most enjoyable parts, when these players, regardless of age, continue to improve.
“But it's massive credit to them. We can only guide them as a staff and I can only give my opinion as a manager. It's down to them to take it and run with it.”
