Sean Dyche admitted his pride after securing another season of Premier League football at Turf Moor.
The Clarets are assured of a sixth successive season in the top-flight following Monday’s decisive win at Fulham.
And already, the Burnley boss has one eye on at how the club can move forwards, in conjunction with the new American owners.
Dyche said: “My overriding pleasure is in a group of people who give everything. A lot of work has gone into this season and the players here give a lot to each other, us as staff and to the fans, so I am incredibly proud of their achievement this season.

“It’s tough when you only have two points from seven games trust me, there’s a lot of work needed to turn that around and believe me, we’ve done that.”
Dyche, who celebrated his 350th league game in charge of the Clarets on Monday night, added: “There’s a lot of work to be done now and a lot of avenues to go down, looking at how we can move forwards and it’s an ongoing situation.
“There is an open dialogue with the owners. I’m speaking to them constantly and we are trying to fathom out how best to take it forward financially, both with the players we’ve got and layering up on top of that.

“I don’t think there is a radical financial shift, which sometimes happens in the Premier League, but I’m hoping and I think there will be some investment.
“It’s how that is balanced off against the challenge of keeping the squad together and building on that.
“All the challenges don’t stop, but it’s a nice position from where we were after game seven.
“There was never any panic because I believe in what we do, but now we’ve got the job done and we’ve three games left, so it’s shoulders back now and let’s see where we can go with it in the closing week.
“Hopefully now, for everyone, the world starts turning and the fans can get back into stadiums and get back to supporting us as they have done ever since I’ve been here.”
