After scoring five goals in his last seven appearances for the Clarets, Zian Flemming is on a roll.

He’s certainly impressed Scott Parker.

Speaking in his press conference earlier today, Parker admitted he was impressed how well the Dutchman has settled in since his arrival from Millwall.

“I think he's definitely got better, yeah. People need to understand the dynamics of moving to a different club, albeit he's come out of this division so there is an easier transition there for him.

“But coming out of Millwall to a different way of playing, different styles of playing and a lot of information that he’s had to absorb in a short space of time can sometimes be drowning and certainly can be pretty difficult.

“This is a player that's fully engaged and you’re probably starting to see that he’s really starting to become more comfortable in new surroundings and on the pitch as well.”

Flemming found the back of the net twice in the FA Cup last weekend at Reading, on the back of the winning goal at Ewood Park the week earlier.

But the Burnley boss says the forward’s best is still to come: “He's in fine form and he's been brilliant since he's come in.

“Some people may question whether he's a striker or a 10. I see him as both. I see he can be a player that can lead a line, can be a platform for us and I think he's proven that over the short space of time he's been with us.
