Burnley Football Club are pleased to confirm the arrival of Isabella Fisher, who joins our women’s team squad from Watford.
Fisher, an 18-year-old striker who has represented England up to U17s level, is eligible to feature in the visit of Rugby Borough this weekend.
Having signed her contract, she said: “I’m extremely excited to be here.
“The move has been quite sudden, but I thought it was best for my career and my future as Burnley seems like the right place for me.
“Being an Essex girl it’s quite different and it’s been lovely to hear all the different accents within the group.
“Tier three is a very competitive league, and it’s a great league to be in if you want to develop.
“The facilities are unreal and the girls that I’m living with are fantastic as well, so I’m excited to get started.”
Fisher’s footballing education came in the Academy set-up at Arsenal, which she formally joined in school year 7.
The forward has been involved with the Lionesses since U15 level and was part of the squad that took part in 2024’s UEFA U17 European Championships in Sweden.
During the tournament, Fisher netted a nine-minute hat-trick against the host nation in a 5-1 group stage win.
August 2024 saw her join tier three side Ipswich Town on a dual registration agreement, and seven months later she joined Watford on the same terms.
Fisher then joined the Hornets permanently in August 2025 and has scored 11 goals in all competitions this season.
The striker will wear number 14 during her time in Lancashire.
