Responses from first survey helping Club to make positive changes
Last month we were pleased to launch Clarets View, a brand-new initiative for fan feedback made up of regular surveys that are aimed at putting fans at the heart of developments at the Club.
Our first survey covered the matchday experience, with responses helping us to gain a valuable insight into the fan experience at home games.

Results found that 68% of respondents haven’t visited the FanZone this season, with 15% saying this was down to the weather. The FanZone is now based indoors in the Elite Training Centre (ETC), located on the North Stand car park, and has a range of new and popular long-standing features including a large screen, bar and fun activities delivered by Burnley FC in the Community. We encourage fans who have not yet visited the FanZone to go along and check it out!
In light of the ongoing changes to Covid-19 regulations, we were keen to gather feedback on communications regarding protocols that needed to be adhered to before and on matchdays. 94% of respondents felt that Covid-19 communications were effective - we want to thank fans for their cooperation during this time.
The safety of fans at Turf Moor is paramount to the Club - from the survey, 78% of respondents said they feel safe at the stadium. 13%, which was 21% of the total female responders, stated that they occasionally hear or see behaviour that makes them feel uncomfortable.

We have taken this feedback on board and urge any supporters who hear or experience any discriminatory language or behaviour, which can include homophobia, sexism, and racism to contact us urgently. Supporters can text the word RESPECT to 66777, or report the incident via the dedicated Kick It Out app. All texts remain anonymous.
Fan Experience Manager, Harriet Harbidge, said: “We’re delighted with the positive response we’ve received to Clarets View.
“Early on we set out that we would communicate feedback, so supporters can see what topics are being covered and the important role fans play in helping us shape our Club. We will continue to communicate the feedback we have received, and we encourage supporters to sign up and participate to help us make positive developments to Burnley FC together.”
Towards the end of March we will circulate key steps the club have made to action feedback received by you during early editions of Clarets View.
