Tony Philliskirk's side will travel to AFC Wimbeldon on Thursday 18th March, in the third-round of the FA Youth Cup.
The competition was originally put on hold in January due to COVID-19 restrictions, but the Clarets will now look to kick-start a cup run in South London.
The Clarets' tie with Wimbledon kicks off at 6pm and will be played at the new Plough Lane stadium.
And a home-tie against Tottenham Hotspur is the prize in the fourth-round, for the winner of the clash.
The Dons entered the competition from the first round, where Rob Tuvey's side beat Oxford United 2-1, before a 2-1 victory over AFC Sudbury in the second-round, booked their place in third-round.
With the hosts of the tie currently sit seventh in the Southern Youth Alliance table, unbeaten in their previous three matches.
Meanwhile, the Clarets will be looking for a similar cup run to last season, after eventually losing in the quarter-final to eventual winners Manchester City, the Clarets saw off Curzon Ashton, Mansfield Town and West Brom in their path.
And Burnley Academy manager Jon Pepper admits the U18 group are delighted to see the FA Youth Cup return and aim for another succesful cup run.
Pepper said: “Were really pleased its back on the agenda, after last year’s successful run, everyone’s excited to see it back on and get it going again.
“In AFC Wimbledon, it’s a new team for us and will be a new challenge for our players and coaches.
“It will be nice for all the lads too, to play at the new stadium, under the lights, in a knock-out competition.
“I think the staff are also looking forward to it, it’s something different for them too and it’s a nice experience for everyone involved all-round.
“And with Spurs the opponents in the next-round for the winners of this tie, it’s a great incentive for the group to push on and set-up a Turf Moor clash in the fourth-round.”
