Burnley are in Emirates FA Cup action on Saturday afternoon – 28th January – when they make the journey to Suffolk, taking on Ipswich Town in the Fourth Round of the competition (3pm KO).
Vincent Kompany’s side set up the tie with a 4-2 win away against Premier League outfit AFC Bournemouth earlier this month when Anass Zaroury and Manuel Benson were both on target with braces.
And since then, the Clarets have extended their winning run in the league to eight matches, most recently beating West Bromwich Albion 2-1 at Turf Moor in dramatic fashion.
Falling behind early on against the Baggies, Nathan Tella levelled before Scott Twine came off the bench late on to net the winner with an inch-perfect free-kick, his first-ever goal for the Club.
One-time winners of the FA Cup, in 1913/14, Burnley remained top of the Sky Bet Championship table with those three points.
Where to Watch?
Tickets remain on sale for Saturday’s game in person at the Turf Moor ticket office.

Ipswich Town
The Tractor Boys are currently flying high in what is their fourth season in Sky Bet League One.
Sat 3rd in the table under former Manchester United coach Kieran McKenna, Town are – at the time of writing – four points outside the automatic promotion places.
Their last outing came at home against Morecambe on Tuesday evening in a resounding 4-0 win.
All four goals came before the half time interval, with the Clarets’ own loanee Michael Mellon coming on at the break for the Shrimps.
The Last Time we Met
There hasn’t been a meeting between the pair since the 2015/16 Championship season which saw Burnley promoted to the Premier League.

In that campaign, the first face-off saw a 2-0 defeat at Portman Road while the reverse fixture, and the most recent meeting, was a goalless draw at Turf Moor in January 2016.
Before that season, the Clarets had won the previous three meetings between the two Clubs including a 1-0 victory in Suffolk when Scott Arfield was the all-important goalscorer.
