Dyche Up For The Cup - Image 1
The Clarets will be bidding to be the first name into the hat for the quarter-finals of the FA Cup when they face Bournemouth at Turf Moor.
Sean Dyche’s men and the Championship Cherries kick-off the fifth-round action with a 5.30pm start.
The winners will have their name attached to ball number-one for the draw for the last eight of the competition, which takes around 7.45pm on Thursday evening.
Both teams have alternative targets in their respective divisions but also know a win tonight will leave them one more victory from a trip to Wembley for the semi-finals.
For the Clarets, it’s the chance to reach the quarter-finals for only the third time since 1983, while Bournemouth have only once gone past round five in the post-War era.

There will be no reunion this evening, with ex-Burnley number-two Jason Tindall following former Turf Moor boss Eddie Howe out of the exit door at the Vitality Stadium (Dean Court).
Caretaker-manager and former England defender Jonathan Woodgate will therefore be looking to block Burnley’s path, as Dyche looks to keep his side firing on two fronts.
“It sounds like they want to play a strong side,” said the Clarets’ chief.
“It was a tough situation for Jason taking over after Eddie. I think he was right to have a go at it and they’ve made a decision that it hasn’t quite worked – in the club’s opinion.
“They have got Woody in there now and I don’t know what the situation will be. We’ll have to wait and see but we’ll have to be open-minded about what they’re going to bring and what they’re going to offer.
“New manager situations down the years have often had a response but it’s not always the case.
“But response or no response, it still comes down to us playing well.
“That’s the thing we’ve got to take into our performance.”
Dyche added: “The common ground we have spoken about many times over the years is to be in the Premier League.
“That remains the focus for this club. I’ve never hidden away from that and it’s such a powerful thing for so many different reasons.
“But the kudos is still there; you want to do well in the cup. You've got to manage your group and we've got loads of injuries but we still want to win the game, as we did at Fulham with a very good performance.”
Team news
The Clarets may be without the quartet of Chris Wood, Charlie Taylor, Josh Brownhill and Robbie Brady.

Midfielder Jack Cork also faces a fitness check and manager Sean Dyche is likely to make changes ahead of Saturday’s Premier League trip to Crystal Palace.
Bournemouth will be without injured top scorer Dominic Solanke and recent arrival Shane Long is cup-tied.
Former Clarets forward Junior Stanislas is expected to feature for the Championship side.
Form guide
The Clarets have beaten MK Dons and Fulham to reach this stage. Burnley’s run of three straight wins was followed by successive league defeats ahead of last Saturday’s 1-1 with Brighton.

Sean Dyche’s men have lost only two of their last nine home games. Bournemouth set up their trip to Turf Moor with home wins over Oldham and Crawley Town in the last two rounds of the Cup.
The Cherries had lost four successive games in the Championship – and not won in five – before a 3-2 win over Birmingham last Saturday gave Jonathan Woodgate victory in his first game since replacing ex-Burnley assistant boss Jason Tindall in a caretaker-capacity.
The victory lifted Bournemouth up to sixth in the Championship table, nine points behind the automatic promotion places.
Opposition camp
Caretaker-manager Jonathan Woodgate: “I won't be experimenting. I know what I want out of the game.
“We'll be going there with a strong team wanting to win the game and if we can do that it brings more confidence, especially against a Premier League team.
“We've won one game now and want to win the next one. It doesn't matter if it's the FA Cup or a league game, we're going to try and win.
“They're a fantastic team led by a really good manager.

“Sean Dyche has done an incredible job up at Burnley and the fans should be thankful for him."
“What he has done for Burnley is unbelievable but what he helped me with as a first-time manager (at Middlesbrough) was brilliant.
“He was someone I could ring when I wanted to, he would text me and I would speak to him on the phone, so I thought ‘fair play to him for doing that’.”
Match stats
The Clarets have reached the quarter-finals of the FA Cup only four times since losing the 1962 final to Tottenham Hotspur.
The last occasion was in 2003 when the Clarets lost 2-0 to Watford at Vicarage Road when Burnley boss Sean Dyche was on the Hornets’ bench.
Bournemouth have made it as far as the quarter-finals only once since the Second World War. They reached the last eight when they were a Division Three South side in 1956/57.
Jay Rodriguez’s double in the last round means the striker has scored 15 cup goals for the Clarets - including 10 in his last 12 starts in the FA Cup - putting him eighth in the club’s all-time list.
Andy Lochhead is top with 28. The Scot scored five times against Bournemouth in a 7-0 FA Cup replay win in 1966.
The Clarets have beaten Bournemouth in each of their previous three FA Cup ties.
The Cherries have won one of only 18 games at Turf Moor in all competitions.
