Burnley Football Club are delighted to confirm that defender Maxime Estève has penned a new five-year deal.
The centre-back becomes the third player to sign a new contract this week, after Josh Cullen and Luca Koleosho both recently extended their stays.
After putting pen-to-paper on his new deal, Estéve said: “I’m very happy, very proud and this Club is very special and important to me.
“The welcome since coming here has been amazing. Everyone in the dressing room, staff, fans are so special to me.
“I felt at home very quickly, my wife and family are happy, so to sign this contract is very good.”
The France U21 international joined Burnley in January from Montpellier on loan and went on to feature 16 times in the Premier League.
After making the move to Lancashire permanent in the summer, the defender has started in the opening four league fixtures for Scott Parker’s side.
