End Of An Era As Directors Depart
Burnley Football Club would like to place on record its thanks to the directors who depart the club with immediate effect, following the acquisition by ALK Capital.
Former Chairman and vice-Chairman Barry Kilby, pictured above, is stepping down, along with the longest serving member of the board, Clive Holt.
Also relinquishing their positions are Brendan Flood, Brian Nelson and Terry Crabb.
Outgoing Chairman Mike Garlick and major shareholder John Banaskiewicz will retain positions on the new board, which will be headed by Alan Pace, the incoming chairman and Managing Partner of ALK Capital.

The change in ownership signals the end of an era for Mr Holt, who was the board's longest serving member, having joined in August 1986. Mr Holt also served as company secretary.
Mr Kilby held a proud 22-year association with the club, having originally joined the board in October 1998 and being voted in as chairman two months later. Barry resigned his post in May 2012 after a hugely successful 13-year stint and returned as Vice Chairman in October 2015, following a personal battle with prostate cancer.
Rossendale-businessman Mr Flood enjoyed two spells as a director, becoming the club's major investor and operational Director in 2007 and returning in March 2014, having resigned for personal reasons in January 2013.
Mr Nelson, who along with all his former board members can claim to be a lifelong fan of the club, joined the Board of Directors in December 2013, after previously holding the position of Associate Director. Mr Nelson will continue as the Chair of Burnley FC in the Community.
Finally, Mr Crabb joined the Burnley FC Board of Directors in January 2014 after previously being an Associate Director and investing in the Turf Moor Bond.
The contributions of all the above directors cannot be under-estimated in helping to shape the football club and subsequently play a major part in our status as a debt-free Premier League club.
We thank them for their service and wish them every success for the future.
