Clarets supporters encouraged to bring Easter eggs and donations as Vertu boosts BFCitC’s mission to ensure no child goes without a treat this Easter.
Burnley Football Club is proud to announce a special community-focused activation with Club Partner Vertu on Saturday 14th March, as the Clarets face Bournemouth at Turf Moor.
As part of Vertu’s commitment to supporting the local community, the company is making a significant donation of Easter eggs to the Burnley FC in the Community (BFCitC) Foodbank. This contribution will help ensure that families across Burnley and the surrounding areas receive much‑needed support in the run-up to Easter, so no child goes without a treat.
Matchday Activation on Harry Potts Way
On the day of the match, fans visiting Turf Moor will find a Vertu Land Rover Nelson vehicle situated on Harry Potts Way, in front of the Bob Lord Stand. Supporters will be invited to take part in a challenge to guess the number of Easter eggs inside the vehicle, for a chance to win a signed Burnley shirt!
Alongside the vehicle, the Foodbank collection van will be stationed to receive donations of Easter eggs and other essential items. Fans are encouraged to bring an Easter egg (or any foodbank donation) before heading into the stadium.
Join the Easter Effort Even If You’re Not at the Game
For those unable to attend the match, but would like to support, there are local donation points available. Easter eggs and other foodbank contributions can be dropped off at:
- Downtown facility (Mon-Fri, 9-4pm)
- Burnley FC Reception (for the Vertu Easter Egg Drive)
- Foodbank drop-off points located in and around Burnley
The Club and BFCitC are extremely grateful to Vertu for their continued generosity and dedication to supporting the local community.
