The Clarets return to action when Rafael Benitez’s Toffees visit Lancashire, with Burnley having just lost once in their last five league outings.
Dyche is confident his team can deliver a positive performance this weekend.
He said: “I never lack confidence in myself, the staff, and the team. It comes with performing and getting results.
“But confidence doesn’t win you games, and it’s something that we all search for, some are more confident than others and we don’t lack that.
“You can’t be a Premier League footballer if you don’t have that inner confidence and resilience to go into a stadium and play in the manner you need to as a Premier League footballer. Building on top of that comes from performances, dealing with the details and confirming to ourselves how we can win games is the next step.
“We’ve got a group who are knowledgeable of the Premier League and the details are so important, because that is the reality of what we are trying to do.
“The games come round, and we get on with it. We plan and we’re working as we go, and you must be ready regardless.
“We’ll be fine, and we must get on with it, and we will do that.
“Everton started the season well and we are wary of the opposition. We have got to focus on ourselves, particularly a home game in front of our fans for the best possible outcome.
“It’s not all about form, it can be about the reality of your situation as a group. Whatever comes our way, we must manage it, we must prepare and do the best that we can do. We know the pressure that you get from playing and the challenges that come with it.”
Dyche also provided an update on team news before the Everton match.
He added: “Maxwel is on the grass but not with us yet, he’s an outside chance so we’ll have to make a judgement call on how he is feeling.
“Barnesy (Ashley Barnes) is making good progress and we knew it would be a long one. Connor Roberts is still coming out of a real nasty infection and Dale Stephens is back in the building and going well.”
