Adobe Women’s FA Cup tie set for January

Burnley Women will now contest their Adobe Women’s FA Cup third round tie against Nottingham Forest at the City Ground on Sunday 5th January 2025.

The match was due to take place on Sunday 8th December at Grange Park but was called off because of a waterlogged pitch caused by heavy rainfall.

The new date brings a change of location, with a fourth-round tie against Championship side Newcastle United up for grabs.

Tickets for the 2pm kick-off are on sale NOW and are priced at £8 for adults, £6 for seniors (66+) and students with a valid NUS card and youths aged 14-17, and £4 for children aged 4-13.

Supporters who purchased tickets for the original fixture at Grange Park will have their tickets cancelled and refunded.

As such, they will need to re-purchase for the trip to the City Ground next month.

Nottingham Forest’s ticket office will contact all those affected directly via email and process the refunds manually.

Turnstiles will open at 1pm on the day, with supporters encouraged to arrive as early as possible to avoid any queues and enjoy the pre-match atmosphere.

As a result of the FA Cup fixture change, the Clarets’ Northern Premier Division of the Women’s National League fixture against Stoke City that was scheduled for Sunday 5th January has been postponed.

Details of a new date for the visit of the Potters will be confirmed and communicated in due course.
