Burnley Football Club can confirm that Braidin Derbyshire has joined Midland Premier League side 1874 Northwich on a short-term work experience loan.
The U18s striker made his debut for the Greens on Saturday, starting the 2-1 home victory over Stourport Swifts.
Derbyshire, 17, has featured twice for Andy Farrell’s U21s this season, including a start away at Cardiff City in the Premier League Cup.
The loan now provides him a first taste of senior football, and 1874 travel to local rivals Northwich Victoria on Boxing Day.
