Burnley and Tottenham Hotspur go head-to-head at Turf Moor tonight for a place in the Carabao Cup quarter-finals.
These two sides last met in the competition in the 2008/09 semi-finals when Harry Redknapp’s side went through 6-4 on aggregate after an enthralling night. The tie was locked at 4-4 after 180 minutes after Jay Rodriguez’ goal before two late Spurs’ goals sealed their place in the final.
Nuno Espírito Santo took over as Spurs’ manager this summer. They won their first three Premier League games of the season to go top of the table. Since then, they have lost four of the next six league games.
Sean Dyche hinted that he would field a strong side but with some changes.
“We will look to make changes but I believe in the group. We’re getting back to a group that are fully fit.
"We have changed the team in the previous round, we always put out a side that we think can win, we will look to make changes once again."

Dyche confirmed the Premier League remains the priority but the club would like cup success.
"We are well aware of the importance of the league programme, but it's still nice to do well in these trophies and we can do, we have made progress through two rounds, we will take the game on."
Burnley have reached the fourth-round stage twice before under Dyche but will be looking to reach the last eight for the first time since 2008/09.

Form guide
In the second round, Burnley won on penalties at St James’ Park after a goalless draw. They then came from behind to beat Rochdale 4-1 in the last round.
Spurs had a bye until the third round when they beat Wolves on penalties at Molineux after a 2-2 draw. Bryan Gil’s penalty proved decisive.
Last week, Tottenham lost 1-0 away to Vitesse Arnhem in the Europa Conference League. Max Wittek got the only goal. They lost an all-London derby 1-0 at West Ham on Sunday with Michail Antonio scoring for the Hammers.
Opposition camp
Tottenham are four-time winners of the competition. Ex-Claret Ralph Coates was the hero when Spurs beat Norwich City 1-0 in the 1973 final. Their last silverware came in the 2008 final when Spurs beat Chelsea 2-1 after extra time. Aaron Lennon was in Juande Ramos’ side.
Santo hinted that he would bring a strong squad to Turf Moor.
“Basically yes, but we have players that we need, players that are working hard, maybe with the expectation that they will have more minutes, the expectation that they deserve more minutes.”

He stressed that the Carabao Cup is an important competition for Spurs.
“It's going to be a tough match like we expect because Burnley is a good team but it's a good chance for us to improve, knowing that the Carabao Cup is an important competition for us.
“Focusing only on the match tomorrow, we're going to face a tough opponent, we know their characteristics - they are very physical, set pieces, aggressive - but at the same time I think we are improving our game.”
