Midfielder looks ahead to a busy two game week

Josh Cullen is looking forward to the prospect of seeing the fans on home turf this week, with the midfielder keen to bounce back to winning ways following Saturday's draw with Cardiff City.

Cullen, who joined up with his Republic of Ireland teammates over the international break, believes the best way to approach a busy October is to continue to take it one game at a time.

Cullen on Stoke City:

“We know it’s going to be a tough game against them. We’ll do our analysis of them over the next couple of days and be fully prepared for Wednesday night. We’re looking forward to bouncing back after obviously a disappointing end to the game on Saturday.”

Cullen on seeing the home fans midweek:

“It’ll be good to see the fans, especially after a couple of week’s break with the international break and the first week back being away from home. To get back to Turf Moor and hopefully back to winning ways, we’ll be looking to do that on Wednesday.”

Cullen on the two-game week:

“We just have to approach this week a day at a time. We know it’s a quick turnaround between games, we’ve a busy schedule coming up, but we’ve just got to focus on the next game as that’s the most important. We’ll try and prepare as we do for every game, tick them off one by one and try and pick up as many points as we can.”
