Club Statement: COVID-19 Restrictions
2020-11-26T14:16:43.133Z
Burnley Football Club acknowledges the government's decision to keep Lancashire in Tier 3 Covid-19 restrictions and therefore this means that games at Turf Moor will continue to take place behind closed doors until further notice.
Lancashire’s placement in Tier 3 means that supporters are still omitted from attending outdoor sporting events until the situation is reviewed in two weeks’ time and every two weeks thereafter.
The club's plans for returning supporters to Turf Moor are well advanced and we will continue to work behind the scenes to ensure that when the time comes, supporters can be re-admitted in a safe way.
We will continue to work with all the relevant authorities and updates on the club’s procedures will be confirmed as soon as Lancashire moves from Tier 3 to Tier 2 in due course.
Thank you for your support
