On behalf of Burnley Football Club’s Board of Directors, the Club are pleased to present the annual report and financial statements for BURNLEY FC HOLDINGS LIMITED for the year ended 31 July 2022.
Turnover has increased by £8.3 million, or 7.2%, on the strength of resumed ticket sales and hospitality revenues from the restoration of fans in the seats.
The Club reported its eighth consecutive year of positive operating profit excluding player trading, generating £11.2 million for the year.
In anticipation of lower turnover the following season due to relegation, the company sold several player registrations, generating a £54.7 million profit. The Club used a portion of those proceeds to pay down £20 million of debt, with the remainder available for deployment to squad investment and funding operations in the Championship.
Our Statement of Financial Position reflects net assets of £104.9 million, amongst the highest levels in the company’s history.
Burnley FC hired Vincent Kompany as first team manager in June 2022.
The Directors would once again like to thank all fans for their continued support.
