Clarets View, the Club’s fan feedback initiative aims to offer supporters the chance to have their say on all things Burnley FC, with responses from the second survey focussing on ticketing collated recently.
Out of the supporters surveyed, 49% communicated that the main contributing factor for them purchasing a match ticket was the price of the ticket itself. To ensure that Clarets fans can enjoy the atmosphere of a Turf Moor matchday, in recent months the Club have introduced a range of ticketing offers, including the Flexisaver and family ticket offer.
The Club are always striving to make improvements to ensure purchasing tickets to Clarets home and away games is an easy and accessible process for supporters. The survey found that 41% of respondents are currently happy with the loyalty points system but 20% would like it rolling over a 5-year period.

Responses from the survey found that 65% of Season Ticket holders want to keep a physical season card and aren’t keen on a digital ticket option at the moment.
The ticketing survey aimed to gain an insight into the ticketing website. While 50% of respondents stated that they were able to renew their Season Ticket online, and while 61% said they are able to buy single game match tickets - 58% said that they found it hard to purchase tickets on behalf of friends and family members.
Some suggestions in relation to the ticketing website included introducing better seating maps which have more information on the disabled wings. Some respondents also added said that they found the website difficult to use on a mobile and that the online options of buying tickets and season tickets, could be made simpler. All of these comments will be taken into account for future developments to the ticketing website in coming months.

Reflecting on the feedback from the second Clarets View survey, Fan Experience Manager, Harriet Harbidge, said: “Ticketing is a key area not only for us here at Burnley FC, but for all Clubs, which is why it was important to place it high on the agenda of the Clarets View initiative.
“In recent months we have introduced a variety of ticketing offers and we want to make sure that our ticketing process is accessible and easy for all. We value the feedback we have received from the survey and will work with the Ticket Office to develop our offering in this area.
“I’m pleased with how the Clarets View initiative is going and I’d encourage fans to get involved as there’s still time to sign up. It’s helping us to gain a valuable insight into being a supporter for Burnley FC and helping us to make positive changes together - which is of great benefit to the Club both now and in the future.”
