Women's game against Wolves this Sunday dedicated to supporting sustainability

This Sunday – 23rd April – sees Burnley FC Women take on Wolves in a crunch clash at the top of the FA Women's National League North. The fixture, being played at the Anchor Ground in Darwen, will be one of the Club’s dedicated ‘Pledgeball’ games, giving you the chance to win a prize!

Pledgeball gives football fans the platform to take a stand on sustainability. You can show your support by making a pledge to cut down on carbon emissions and help the Claret Women climb the Pledgeball league table.

The group of fans who have pledged to save the most carbon emissions by midnight on matchday will see their club at the top of the table.

Katie Cross, the Founder of Pledgeball, said: “We were stunned by the response from Burnley FC Women, both club and fans, in the last Pledgeball fixture.
