Burnley U21s will face Stockport County in the semi-finals of the Central League Cup on Wednesday 17th April.
The Clarets were impressive in topping Group B, winning all four games against Accrington Stanley, Blackburn Rovers, Preston North End and Wrexham.
Andy Farrell’s team scored 12 goals and conceded one in the process and will now face the Hatters, who topped Group A ahead of Huddersfield Town on gaol difference after both teams earned eight points.
The Central League Cup is a reserve competition, with no age limit on the players eligible to play.
The semi-final will kick off at 1pm at the Burnley Training Centre and falls between the team’s Professional Development League fixtures against Charlton Athletic and Barnsley, both of which are also at home.
Supporters are welcome to attend free of charge.
