Three different hat-trick goal scorers against Coundon Court!

The Claret Women progressed to the fourth round of the Adobe FA Cup as the side secured a 11-0 victory away from home against Coundon Court Ladies.

Aimee Kelly, Brenna McPartlan and Laura Elford secured hat-tricks, along with Millie Ravening getting two goals during the match on Sunday.

McPartlan grabbed her second hat-trick in a row, after netting her first in the previous round against Alnwick Town at Clitheroe FC.

After the game, Clarets' striker Kelly reflected on her first Burnley hat-trick and described how positive the mood is around the squad following the recent run of performances.

"The opener I got early on in the game on Sunday, gave the team and I the momentum to get the best results possible.

"It set the tone for the rest of the match, as it gave the team and myself the extra confidence to reach new boundaries and keep on scoring!"

Elford added: "The game against Coundon Court was great. I was able to get a full 90-minutes of play, which I wanted to prove and show what we as a team are capable of.

"I got a hat-trick along with Aimee and Brenna, which shows the hard work we put in each week. It's great that we are getting the results to reflect our work ethic."

McPartlan described her thoughts on her recent performances across the Adobe Women's FA Cup competition, having secured six goals in the previous two matches.

She also spoke of the importance of continuing her personal, and the squad's, momentum as they progress into the next round.

"It's a great feeling that I got another hat-trick as it doesn't happen often!

"However, most importantly I want to get the results for the team. It is great that we got the win and we continue within this FA Cup competition."

Finally, the Claret Women highlighted how grateful they are of the recent support they have received from fans both in person and on social media.

Kelly said: "The support we see each week makes a huge difference! We love hearing it as it pushes us to go further and get the best results possible.

"We want to influence and be role models to the younger generation who watch us each week, and we want them to pursue their own footballing dreams."
