Burnley Football Club can confirm that the Clarets will face German side FSV Mainz 05 in the final pre-season friendly of the summer.
Vincent Kompany's side will travel to the MEWA Arena on Saturday 5th August, the weekend before the Premier League opener against Manchester City at Turf Moor.
The friendly will kick off at 3:30pm local time in Germany and supporters will be able to attend the match with ticket details to be announced in due course.
After yesterday's announcement that the Clarets will also face Benfica on their Portugal trip, this will now see Burnley take on top-flight teams from Belgium, Portugal, Spain and Germany in pre-season before kicking off the 2023/24 campaign.
Confirmed pre-season fixtures:
Saturday 22nd July - K.R.C Genk - Cegeka Arena
Tuesday 25th July - Benfica - Estadio do Restelo
Friday 28th July - Real Betis - Estadio Nuevo Colombino
Saturday 5th August - FSV Mainz 05 - MEWA Arena
