Initiative is the latest to come from Club’s Innovation Hub

As part of the Burnley FC Innovation Hub programme, Burnley FC partnered with Mantis XR to explore new ways of bringing supporters closer to the club through digital experiences.

During the 2026 Dude Perfect International Youth Cup, the club launched the Burnley FC Clubhouse, a browser-based interactive experience designed to extend fan engagement beyond the physical event.

The virtual Clubhouse allowed supporters to explore a Burnley-themed environment, interact with content, and participate in a gamified quiz experience that connected directly to the tournament retail activation.

Accessible without downloading an app, the experience provided fans with a simple and engaging way to connect with the club while unlocking rewards during the tournament weekend.

The project forms part of Burnley FC’s Innovation Hub initiative, an accelerator programme designed to identify, pilot, and support emerging sports technology companies tackling challenges across football, fan engagement, and commercial innovation.

Working closely with Burnley FC, Mantis XR rapidly designed and launched the experience, demonstrating how browser-native digital environments can create new opportunities for supporter engagement, content discovery, and retail participation.
