Josh Brownhill admits he is enjoying life in his new attacking position this season in Vincent Kompany's side and feels the role is paying off.
The midfielder, who has four goals and two assists this season, put in another impressive performance in the 2-1 victory over his former side Bristol City on Saturday.
And post-match at Turf Moor, the 26-year-old discussed the performance, his role in the team and facing his former side.
Brownhill on the performance:
"I thought we were very good for the majority of the game, to be honest.
"Getting that first goal again is what we want, teams can't then sit back and defend.
"It was annoying for us to go and concede again after, we need to stop that an letting sides back into it.
"But then we get that second goal and we could have put it to bed, but overall i thought it was a very good performance."
Brownhill on his role in the side:
"Me playing a little bit more forward is what i have wanted to do.
"To put an effect on the game, create chances and i feel like i did that today.
"When you have Benson and Tella on each wing, with Jay Rod up front, we're always going to be a threat.

Brownhill on going into the break level after a dominant first half:
"It is really frustrating at times, it was similar at Preston the other night.
"We feel like we have done enough to be ahead at the break and we're going in at 1-1 again.
"You have to rally around one another and encourage each other that it will come.
"I felt like we created enough chances, but it paid off in the second half."
Brownhill on denying Bristol City many opportunities going forward:
"They have some really good players, especially going forward in Weimann, Wells and Conway, they're dangerous.
"They were always going to be a threat going forward, so to limit them to one goal is a credit for us as well.
"I felt like we limited them to a lot of chances, which is another positive for us and it's a good three points for us."
