Josh Brownhill believes Tuesday night's match with Norwich City at Turf Moor is going to be a tough test, but a test he feels the side can overcome
In this preview, the midfielder, who grabbed the Clarets' fourth goal on the weekend and his fifth of the season, discussed Saturday's win, what to expect from Norwich and the advantage of three consecutive home games.
Brownhill on Saturday's 4-2 victory at Sunderland:
"It was an emotional rollercoaster! From being disappointed after the first half and going into the break losing.
"To then come out second half, for us it was just focusing on getting one back and then seeing where it takes us.
"I was absolutely delighted to come away from that match winning, I feel like they're the best games and games you want to play in.
"As much as it's not what you want going 2-0 down, the feeling after the game is special."
Brownhill on Tuesday's meeting with Norwich:
"It's going to be a tough test for us, they are going to want to come to Turf Moor and take home three points.
"But we'll be looking to do the same thing, I feel like it's a big game for both teams and both sides want the same thing, getting back in the Premier League
"For us, we want to make sure it's us that take home the three points and send the fans home happy again."
Brownhill on the three consecutive home matches:
"I feel like it's a good opportunity for us to go and get three good results being at home.
"On our Turf, it's going to be massive for us, in front of the fans and hopefully we can put in some good performances and see where we are at the end of them."
Brownhill on the supporters:
"They have been incredible all season, up at Sunderland on the weekend, another far away trip, they were high up in that corner, but so many of them.
"They spurred us on in that second half and the feeling after walking over to them at full time, I actually got goose bumps, it was special."
