Burnley Football Club are pleased to announce the season-long loan signing of defender Jordan Beyer, from Bundesliga side Borussia Mönchengladbach.
The 22-year-old, who can operate as a centre-back and a right-back, leaves Mönchengladbach for the 2022/23 campaign, where he has spent the last seven seasons, after joining as an U16 player in 2015.
Beyer spent the second half of the 2019/20 season on loan at Hamburg, with this spell now being his second away from the Club.
The Kempen-born defender has also represented Germany from U15 to U21 level.
After joining the Clarets, Beyer said: "As soon as i heard of the interest in the deal, i drove straight to the airport, I just wanted to get here straight away.
"I am just so happy it has all worked out and it's all done, I can't wait, honestly."
Manager Vincent Kompany said: “We would like to thank Borussia Mönchengladbach for allowing us to take Jordan on loan for the season.
“He’s a centre-back with speed and quality on the ball, that has been educated at one of the finest academy’s in Europe.”
