Jaidon Anthony knows the Clarets are in for another challenging encounter on Saturday, as they host Nottingham Forest at Turf Moor.
Burnley head into this weekend off the back of a narrow and late defeat to Liverpool last time out, but Anthony is hoping the side can bounce back and claim their second three points of the season.
Speaking to Clarets+ ahead of the clash with Ange Postecoglou's side, Anthony said: "It's going to be another tough game. They have an unbelievable squad with some great players, and we know we're going to have to be at our best.
"Every game in this league is tough, and this is no different, we will prepare the best we can ahead of the game and hopefully come out on top to get another three points."
Burnley came within minutes of taking a point from Manchester United and then Liverpool last week, but stoppage time penalties in both of those games denied the Clarets from coming away with anything.
Looking back at the opening four games, Anthony acknowledged the tough start the team have had, but he's pleased with the displays they have put in.
"It's what we're all about, working as hard as possible until the very end. I thought to a man we were excellent last weekend, and it did hurt to come away empty handed.
"However, there are lots of positives to take away from it and the United game, we knew the tough start on paper in terms of fixtures what we had, but we have come very close and we're competing well."
Anthony has enjoyed a bright start to life in the 2025/26 campaign, scoring goals against both Sunderland and Manchester United, as well as grabbing an assist at Old Trafford.
The winger is pleased with his start but admits the main personal goal for him is helping the team get as many points as possible on the board.
"I'm enjoying it, it's been a nice start, getting the two goals and the assist. It's always good to be helping the team out as much as I can.
"I think there's more to my game than just goals and scoring, I want to be creating as many opportunities for the team as possible and helping the team win as many games as possible."
