Jaidon Anthony insisted he knew on Monday morning that the Clarets would beat the Blades and secure their spot in the Premier League for next season.
The winger has enjoyed a tremendous season at Turf Moor, scoring seven goals and assisting seven and the 25-year-old is delighted to have achieved promotion to the top-flight with Burnley.
Speaking to Clarets+ post-match on Monday evening, Anthony smiled: "It's unbelievable, it's a crazy feeling. I knew today, this morning we would do it, but to now finally have got it done and over the line means everything.
"This team have been unreal all season and the dressing room is one of the best, if not the best, that I have been around, it's a real good group of players."
Anthony added: "We all deserve this, the team, the staff, the gaffer, the fans and the whole town, we know what it means and I'm just so pleased it's confirmed now.
"We have said all season, the fans, the staff, we have all been in it together and it's amazing to be able to celebrate it here today (Monday) with them and long may it continue."
